STATISTICS FOR TRINITY
In the past few years, these are some of the trends for Trinity Lutheran Church…
Worship attendance has gone up 122% from 1990 (from 110 to 245/week)
Total Mission Support money to the ELCA has dropped from$22,000 to $19,750 – but support to local missions has increased 325% up to $8,500.
Total yearly income for Trinity has increased 32% since 2001 – up to $236,000 for this past year (2008)… While regular giving has increased by 26% up to $210,000.
Membership roles were “cleaned” in 2005 and non-attenders and people who have not participated in years were removed from the official roles of the church. Attendance stands at 486 people – and the percentage of members attending worship services is at 62%.
Capital improvements of 1.2 million dollars were made to the church in 2008.
Trinity has over 125 young people who attend or participate in ministry each year – and approximately 75 college youth we stay in contact with.
On average, 10 funerals, 12 weddings and 10 baptisms are done each year.
Trinity is the only church in the county that has two, ordained and called pastors serving at least half-time or more.
